Caller ID is an app that helps you identify the caller's name by finding out who is calling you. It also offers a block call feature to block unwanted calls. Additionally, it provides phone number lookup to find the name associated with phone numbers and name lookup to find the number associated with names.

The Caller ID app is free of charge but requires an internet connection to function.

For the Caller ID and call blocking features to work properly, all users must grant the necessary permissions.

To manage subscriptions, users can follow one of the two options:

1. On Android, open the Google Play Store, then tap Menu > Subscriptions.
2. On a computer, go to play.google.com, then click My subscriptions in the left menu.

Users can also access their list of subscriptions using the URL http://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions on either Android or a computer.

Please note that in compliance with Google Play developer policy, the following permissions are required:

For the block call feature:

• The caller ID or block call will not work without granting the following permission: android.permission.CALL_PHONE and android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG (Android 9.0+).
• Caller ID requires access to calls information to perform searches in our server and retrieve the caller's name.
• Call blocker requires access to calls information to perform blocking.

For the search feature:

• To use the search feature, users need to grant the following permission: android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE.

For the chat feature:

• To enable chat functionality with contacts who have the app, users need to grant the following permission: android.permission.READ_CONTACTS.
• We access your contacts frequently to check for new or updated users who you can chat with.

The device ID is accessed to properly provide the search feature and generate a unique ID for your device.

The following permissions are required to keep the caller ID feature functional:

• android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - allows functionality even after the mobile device is rebooted.
• android.permission.WAKE_LOCK - allows functionality even if the app was in the background for a long time.

The canDrawOverlays permission is needed to display the caller name information on your device screen when you receive a call.
